Excellent!
Looking forward to finding out more about my Boast, Aldous, Shimmon & Hines branches & further back if possible.
Anyone having the same roots is most welcome to contact me,
Hi Linda, My name is Janet green, nee Boast. My grandparents were Walter and Gertrude Boast and my great great grandparents were George and Elizabeth Boast nee Aldous. Are you related to Jane Rumble who also has Boast relations who lived at Doggets as did mine? Look forwar d to hearing from you.
hello I will be visiting your village ,next spring, for the first time, to try and find a few ancestors' graves.how many churches are in your village and is it likely I may find early 19th century graves?Sorry if this is a silly question but I'm new to this. If anyone at all can help re Waights graves or info ,would be very grateful.
Hi Sue, There are two churches in the village - All Saints - this is an Anglican church. You cannot miss it, it's in the centre of the village! There is a churchyard too, but I'm not sure of the earliest readable gravestones, I think 19c graves should be visible. There is also the Baptist Chapel which is very near All Saints. There is also the Cemetry which is a few minutes walk on the edge of the village. All are worth a walk around.

thanks I shall enjoy a look around!

Oh Dear...

I was not informed about any of these messages...

I looked back here several times, but no one responded for months, so checking back now 2 years on!

If anyone has Boast descendants, please visit my website & send Admin (ME!) a request for access, explaining your connection...

I would love to hear from close or distant relatives who share my interest in Family History!

Kindest regards,

Linda
