I'm a Canadian/British/Australian and my family (as far back as I can trace it), was from Stradbroke.
I've managed to trace 4 generations from Stradbroke, before records (so far) dried up.

Richard Girling (b.1790) & Jemima (née Pyle)
William Girling (b1748) & Sarah (née Huggins)
John Girling (b 1719) & Sarah (née Smith)
Thomas Girling (b 1695) & Mary (née King). No confirmation of where Thomas was actually born, but I know they lived in Stradbroke and that Mary is recorded variously as born in Fressingfield and Eye. Both were 17 when they married!
