Looking for a cousin related to me to Get there Y tested at FTDNA.
Anyone know anything about these girlings. My Grandfathers.

When Thomas Girling was born on May 16, 1842, in Wangford, Suffolk, England, his father, Richard, was 65 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 51. He had one son with Charlotte Warren in 1868.

Hi Lorne. Not sure I can help you, as the three Thomas Girling's I've found in my tree were born in the 16 and 17 hundreds. Your Richard would have been born around 1777. There's two in my tree, but one born in 1790 and the other in 1751 (both in Stradbroke). I think my tree is viewable on Ancestry (although I can't modify it, as I've not paid the annual subscription). Have a look there if you can see any connection.
