Hi Stradbroke!I saw something very strange in the skies over Stradbroke in November last year, and was wondering if anyone knows what it might have been? This new site is looking remarkably like facebook to me! I've only just weaned myself off that little addiction for the duration of lent. This quaint localised version could perhaps be far more effective if I managed to get all my *real* local friends who I genuinely interact with on here as members. Time will tell.
I have changed the date for the pool party to 18th April. If Owen wants to share it then we'll have to get together and get them to write out a list of 15 invitees each without overlaps. I think it best to only tell the invitees that they have been invited by either Sammie or Owen and not both.. this will minimise the excessive present giving. Let me know your decision on this early next week because invitations need to go out before the Easter holidays.
Can anyone explain why the crop scarer somewhere up the Horham end of the village needs to be going off all night as well as all day? Is it faulty or are they supposed to do this? Do sneaky birds creep in under the cover of darkness??
