Village Design Statement - the lost 2012 update

At the Grove Farm consultation this evening Durrants were arguing that a 2012 revision to Stradbroke's village design statement gave them the green light for their proposed development. Nobody including several parish councillors who were present could remember this but Durrants had a copy.

Neighbourhood Planning: The 2003 Land Bids

Just as the village design statement was published in 2003 a process of "land bids" was begun by Mid Suffolk District Council working with the Parish Council. Landowners were able to submit plots of land for consideration of an extension of the settlement boundary.
