One of the highlights of Stradbroke’s cricket season is the AGM followed by the Annual Presentation Evening. Our last six guest speakers have been Charlotte Edwards, James Foster, Paul Grayson, Ravi Bopara, Ronnie Irani, and Devon Malcolm.

James Grigg was a talented cricketer, and will be warmly remembered as much for his smile and character off the pitch as for his fight on the pitch.

After joining the club as a 10-year-old, he progressed quickly through the Junior ranks and into the Senior ranks. If you needed someone to help you out, James was always there.

STRADBROKE Cricket Club require an assistant to their overworked groundsman. Duties include some grass cutting, pitch preparation & maintenance. Would suit an active retired person, or someone younger looking to start a career path. This is a voluntary position, but the Club will pay to attend locally-run, 1-day Institute of Groundsmen courses in spring & autumn. Interested?
