The proposals met with widespread public concern due to road safety concerns and the proximity to Stradbroke Primary School.

Suffolk County Council Highways are conducting a traffic survey on the B1118 at Queens Street just outside the Primary School spanning the proposed location of the co-op store. The survey will take place for a week and will measure the quantity, weight and speed of traffic. Information from the survey will be provided to the Parish Council and we will publish anything we can on this site.
Yesterday the Grove Farm planning application for 52 houses disappeared from Mid Suffolk District Council's planning website.
After inquiries to the Planning Office it transpires that only the listed building consent for the barns was supposed to have been released at this stage. The rest of the details appeared due to an administrative error at Mid Suffolk who now say:
In respect of the creation of 54 dwellings, this application will be valid I suspect in the next couple of months and will be the subject of formal consultation at that time.
If you want to comment on the whole Grove Farm development then please watch this site for more information! Any comments you might have sent to Mid Suffolk will need to be sent again when the consultation for the houses begins!
