Ex-pupils join us for our 5Oth Anniversary Celebration !

On Friday 25th September we celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the opening of Stradbroke Modern School. During the day pupils were given a glimpse of what the school would have been like in September 1959. Lessons involved PT, with the RAF putting them through their paces, Country Dancing, Knitting, Arithmetic and learning times tables !

September 2009 - Welcome back!

I am delighted like to be sharing news from Stradbroke Primary once again. I have returned to school from Maternity Leave and I am happy to announce that I am now a parent to a lovely baby girl.

The Night-Watchman - September 2009 - Champion Youths

This has possibly been one of the most successful and memorable seasons in the history of the club’s Youth Section. Let’s start at the end, shall we?

The Under11s are North Suffolk Youth Under11s League Champions by virtue of beating Garboldisham in the final, and by winning six out of seven league matches. Skippered by Will Bacon and managed by Steve and Chris Bacon, they played 11 games in total, of which they won eight.…
