East Anglia Pub Company and local couple snap up disposals

Punch has sold landmark former Spirit Group pub the Peterboat, which overlooks the Thames Estuary in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, in a multi-million pound deal.

The East Anglia Pub Company bought the pub for an undisclosed sum. Fleurets acted on behalf of the vendor.

Closed Punch pub the White Hart in Stradbroke, Suffolk, has also been sold.

The new owners are Max and Alison Shingler, who previously owned the Kings Head in Brooke, Norfolk. Christie + Co acted on behalf of the vendors.

The pub, which has been closed for the past 18 months, will be refurbished and re-open in July. It was sold off a guide price of £195,000 for the freehold."
