I am delighted like to be sharing news from Stradbroke Primary once again. I have returned to school from Maternity Leave and I am happy to announce that I am now a parent to a lovely baby girl.
It is always great to see parents and children again after the Summer break. We welcome our new Reception class and eight older new children and their families to Stradbroke.
As ever I invite parents choosing schools this year to contact me for a chat and tour of Stradbroke Primary. Choosing the right school is one of the most important decisions a parent has to make for their child- I am always happy to assist with this.
This term promises to be a fun and busy one. You may have seen some interestingly dressed children walking around Stradbroke recently- Class 2 held a “pirate” day and we had some great costumes. All classes are currently busy preparing for our forthcoming harvest festival at Stradbroke Church. Our brass band the “music makers” will also be performing at various school events this term.
Our youngest children are able to use our Infant play area now and we starting work to expand our ICT suite and library.
Stradbroke Primary is a good place to be and I look forward to sharing more news with you as the year progresses.
Melanie Barrow, Headteacher.
