PARISH COUNCIL MEETING - 08 February 2010
8 members of the public attended the meeting and during the Public Forum the Parish Council was addressed by two residents on the subject of planning application 2289/09.
Applications considered:
Approval was recommended unanimously for the following applications:0057/10 conversion of loft space into new master bedroom suite & further internal alterations on both
the ground and first floors 3 Chapel Close Refusal was recommended by a majority vote for:2289/09 erection of 2 chicken sheds and feed bins - Land adjacent to Fennings Farm, Pixey Green
No results of planning applications considered by MSDC had been received since the Parish Council last met.
Other Matters:
The application for an increase in the number of chicken sheds at Ebden’s Farm had been postponed.Other Business
A conifer in the churchyard has begun to fall and will be removed as soon as possible.Following the concerns raised with Councillors about the pavements in icy weather the advice received from a leading broker to the town and parish sector was that areas should not be cleared as it is easier for
pedestrians to make a judgement whether or not to use the pavement if attempts
to remove snow, ice, leaves etc have not been made.
Sure Start funding had been obtained to provide improvements at the Community Centre
