Well done! You have published your first post! If you have a look at the top corner where it says how long ago you published it, you will see three little dots - click on them for a menu of options! All of them are pretty self explanatory, but a few tips: Unfollow/Follow a post - you are keeping an eye on any activity on this post. You will get a little email to tell you if anyone comments or follows the post. Edit post - Whoops! You made a mistake or left something out? No worries, just edit the post - don't forget to save your changes! Share post - share your post or anyone else's post on another platform or via email. Delete post - Je ne regrette rien... but if you then do regret the post, hit the delete button! You will see those little dots on other posts too - usually offering you Follow Post (if you want to see what responses it gets!) and Share post.... If a post contravenes the terms of usage of the site (link at bottom of the page) then click Report Post and we'll look into it!

The Stradbroke Village Website has always had a place for folk to ask questions, and share info with others. Selling something? Doing family history research? Want to ask about something happening in Stradbroke? Want to *advertise* something happening in Stradbroke? Want to tell Stradbroke something? If you want to have a go, here is the 3 step 'how to' guide: SIGN UP/LOG IN Go to the Log In/Sign Up at the top of the page and sign up ( you could add a nice picture of yourself or the logo of your organisation! Or a nice view of Stradbroke... up to you.) Tip: If you want to sign in as a village organisation, do remember to write the name of the organisation when you sign up, rather than your own name! TAKE PART Then click on TAKE PART on the menu, and choose what you want to do: there are 2 forums at the moment - Upcoming Events (Where you can post your upcoming events!) and Say Hello (where everything else can go!). CREATE NEW POST Click on the blue 'Create New Post ' button and off you go - fill in a title , add a picture or video and type your text! Don't forget to click on the 'Publish' button at the bottom of the text when you have finished! You've done it :-) Next time you log in you may see a little bell with a red notification on it - this is telling you if someone has commented on your post!
